At Guiding Light Ministries, our heart is to bring lasting hope and transformation to communities around the world. In partnership with Sewing Kindness, our ministry based in Africa, we’re helping widows and orphans find new life through sustainable employment. By crafting beautiful handbags and accessories, these women are empowered to support themselves and their children with dignity and purpose.
But our mission goes even further. Together with Sewing Kindness, we’re actively building homes for widows, constructing schools to educate children, and ministering in prisons—bringing the love of Jesus to every corner we can reach. Several times each year, our teams travel to Africa to serve, support, and strengthen these communities in person.
This partnership is a living example of the Guiding Light Ministries mission: to restore hope, ignite purpose, and share the transforming power of Christ—both at home and around the world.
All of our funding comes from fund-raisers and donations, trusting God to supply all of our needs.
